LLM, hard work, I got the sack from Vauxhall Motors so started again, this time chose to use the LLM selector thingy and was given St.Albains (excuse spelling) well anyway I still suck or I should say my team does. 16 games played only 1 draw and no wins and sitting on the bottom of the table becoming quite disheartened with this whole LLM. How can a team suck so bad, no matter what I try I am doomed to get beat week in week out.
Not asking for help, just crying in my soup.
Trying to stay loyal to LLM but surely even the worst LLM teams cant lose this much, eh?
Funny thing is board are happy with me as they only want a mid table finish, looks like I am going to wind up getting the boot season's end.
Cheers
p.s. I might look up the real team on the internet and see if they are as bad as FM2005 make them out to be.
Don't lose heart, we have all been through a similar situation in our playing lives, those who say otherwise are lying. Going through the rough makes sucess taste much better.
Keep plugging away and you'll soon get the knack of losing and enjoying it!!
I've played previous versions of CM with my own slack LLM rules and was about as awful as you. Since signing up to the forums and seeing the LLM guidelines I've started a FM game just like you and have surprised myself with midtable success so far.
Keep your chin up and within a month you'll be doing well with St.Albans and I'll be bottom in my game.
If you're finding LLM too hard in your early days of it, try taking on one of the better teams such as Grays. This will ease you into the ways of LLM without...
1. Casting you miles off at the foot of the table.
2. Giving you lots of money to spend like two certain LLM clubs in Britain (pre one of them going bust).
Then, once you've got used to LLM and find Grays comfortable, plump for one of the lesser sides, such as St Albans.
This is often a route the new players to LLM take, as the way of LLM can be very difficult, maybe even daunting for those who have played CM/FM for years in other ways.
