Swiss league is interesting. As far as getting higher quality players than most LLM leagues goes, I'd say that would be true if the Swiss had a player pool that could support its leagues. But since it can't, and getting people to move to Switzerland is rather difficult, it is a challenging league. Probably more so than the Dutch first, for instance.

I've played the Swiss league before and found that although it wasn't easy to get good players from outside Switzerland there were lots or relatively good Swiss players floating about at non-league clubs or for free so moving up the league was really easy. Go somewhere else for a challenge.

I haven't tried any other league than England so far in FM2005, but Austria was damn hard in 03/04 when you had a no-reputation 2nd league team.

I tried Switzerland lower leagues once. Unfortunatly I got FC Vaduz, of Liechtenstein. They had 3, yes 3 players (without cheating it is unlikely you can get their Liechtenstein born players - The nice people in the bugs forum told me to break the rules! And it is darn difficult to sign players, even though they have money in the bank.
