And even if these youngsters did move, isn't there laws against recruiting Eastern Europeans for child labour?

Season 05/06

TRANSFERS

IN

Historic landmark imo for east stirling under me as I bring in a striker from Dumbarton for the fee of 1k. after shining on loan last season I decided to bring in the striker on a permanent basis. Not much other activity really a few here and there as backup.

OUT

Mass shelling of the squad as I found out who could make it and who couldn’t out of my frees the earlier season. Now with my squad down to 23 players I felt I had a good shot of another top half finish.

SEASONAL SUMMARY

SCOTTISH FA CUP

A Shock entry into the second round which meant guaranteed prize money (big prize money in comparison to other cups). In 2nd round I faced highland league team buckie thistle and after a goal-less draw away a replay was played at firs park in a thrilling encounter 4-3 to the shire. In the 3rd round we drew raith rovers out of the hat and similarly drew away and brought them back to firs park to win 3-1. 4th round now, this is where the money rolls in (about 75k iirc- a very huge amount for the shire) we drew premier league side dunfermiline at home which sold out the entire stadium in a game which we fought bravely but lost 3-1. Great cup run saw the finances increase and allow huge wages next season as for the first time in history the wage strings stretched to 100 quid a week.

SCOTTISH CHALLENGE CUP

Lost to cowdenbeath 2-1 in the first round at home. Disappointing once again in a cup I feel anyone ahs a chance to win or go on a un.

SCOTTISH LEAGUE CUP

Lost out in first round so not much prize money to go into the kitty once again to build on as I lost against Airdrie united 2-0 away.

SCOTTISH THIRD DIVISION

Finished well as we missed out on promotion by just 7 points. Next season is a time when we feel we can push our selves into promotion especially with the form of a certain English striker brought in in the first season. The previously unattached striker came in and once again topped the shire goal charts and came second in the league charts.

In other news, over the summer of 2006 spain anialted argentina in the world cup final 8-1:eek: and lifted the cup for the first time in history. Also Ronaldinho broke the English transfer record as he signed for arsenal for 42 million.

THE OFFICIAL CONTROVERSIAL ESTONIAN SUPER BABIES SECTION

15 Year old ‘Estonian Super Baby’ (as they become to be known in the ‘future’) no#1 (AMR).
Disappointing in first season. Couldn’t play in the first season due to being underage and had his opportunity this season. Never shone and was released in the mass haul of players.

16 Year old ‘Estonian Super Baby’ no#2 (AMC)

What a season!!!! this guy is so damn creative. Not the fastest in the world but combining well with the top scorer and becoming a firm fans favourite. Top of the assists chart.
16 Year old ‘Estonian Super Baby’ no#3(DL)

with no other options this guy came into him own with a nifty 7.09 average rating. Very consistent left back.

16 Year old ‘Estonian Super Baby’ no#4(ML)

played well a few games but got forced out o f the team by loan siging eventually. As loan signing returnewd back to Scottish first division ESB no#4 earned a new one year contract extension.

The “Find” button.

Not used by LLaMas. In order to use the “Find” button you have to know who you’re searching for. This can only be done by having prior knowledge of the player, either by having past experience of him in a previous game or by listening to a recommendation by a player tipper.
extracted from the rules.

and i knew him from previous games etc

From the guidelines:

Quote:
Signing “known” players is a big no no. Known players are ones that are known to you through outside influences, or have been signed and performed well for you in previous games of CM. (now FM) Regardless of what you tendency is with the Search Screen, no player should ever be signed unless he is first given the once over by one of your scouts.

yeah but in all fairness despite me knowing him i never knew he was on my game until the scout produced him back saying he was on a free transfer from england. so i left it but then remembered after i reloaded the game and entered his name in the find button.

you scouted him and he was excellent but you didn't put him on the shortlist, so you had to use the find button?

I think I better leave this. It's your game, play it as you want.
