You are misinterpreting it. He says, they're scouting in Jockland and Poofland, and in addition they are making *trips* to certain parts of Europe. Most likely some Eastern European vacation, where girls are still affordable for LLM managers.

The guy is just using SYB, Boston is closer to Holland than to Ireland so what he is doing is perfectly reasonable.

Hmm, if that's cheating, how about this then: Clyde have received 2500 requests from players to come on trial. They apparently put an ad in the papers!
