Freddie Aid?

I don't worry myself over the balance. The only way to get money is to sell players I'm afraid.

If you can, it's probably by editing something in the program. Not quite how we do things around here.

What the others said. Sell dead wood, reduce wage bill, fine top-earners for no reason, hope for a cash cow in the cups (although they suck arse). And hope that you don't get relegated anyway.

How will that save money, I thought that the money still left the club's account and the money just disappeared (to charity, I presume).

IIRC fines go to a charity to help young footballers and those who have had their careers cut short through injury.

So, absence from training due to being totally drunk counts as a matter of good will trying to develop youth football?

Never thought of that in such a phylosophical manner

When George Graham was sacked (or resigned depending on whose story you believe) as manager of one his clubs, a large amount of cash was found in his desk drawers.
The explanation was that this was money from players' fines that was due to go to charity, but had not been sent yet.
