Default Quick LLM ethics question....

Quick question for those in the know. Currently, I'm managing Chievo in Serie B. My reputation is World Class, and it's the game I started way back with Bradford PA.

Am tempted to go back to LLM management, and jump back to the English Conference, to manage my local non-league team - Blyth Spartans - to see how far i can take them - as the job is available.

Given my current standings and reputation, would this be an unethical jump ? )

Would a manager who'd competed in the Champions' Cup with an English EPL team do it?

I'd guess not, BG.

However, the name of the game's LLM, and Blyth are your local team, so I'd go for it.

Only LLM Ethics matter is your reputation may attract unrealistically good players, but they won't sign for Blyth anyway so it's a moot point.

Go for it, BG

It's probably unrealistic as far as real life goes. You're unlikely to see someone of world class fame dropping to the league below let alone to the conference!

But as it has been said before, it's your game etc.....

It is a tough one to call. Had Blyth been in the English Conference North at the start of playing, I would have started with them. I can see how it's an urealistic jump - but Blyth are close to my heart. I'll have to give it some thought, whilst I take the dogs out for a wander !

If it's what you want to do and a once in a lifetime (well of FM anyway) chance, go for it.

Good luck

You could still retire and bring in a new manager, if you're worried about your (too high) reputation.

what the jockmodbloke said.

there's a quote that I half recall that goes along the lines of "you're more likely to regret something you didn't do than something you did".
