The wage issue might make it impossible anyway, since if they sign you, most of their budget will go to paying your contract.

Well, as yet I haven't been offered it - it is still vacant. As is the Burnley job, which I left over 18months ago - that hasn't been filled yet either. I've read about a bug - looks like I might have it. :thdn:

I hate that bug too, took Doncaster up to Premiership (after a few seasons as Newport C in Conf S, Conf National) and established a good if aged side, then jumped ship to Crystal Palace and Doncaster remained managerless for 2 seasons and didnt sign a soul or renew any contracts, only when i left Crystal Palace for Conference South team Frickley Athletic (got bored in Premiership - used the excuse that i was fed up of a commute from Doncaster so moved to another side from South Yorkshire) did Doncaster appoint a new boss, and now, Crystal Palace are staying managerless and not renewing contracts!

Are you both on v5.0.5? The 'arrogate job was taken in about three days after I jumped ship to Palarse...I was a bit upset that they replaced me so quickly  | |

Yup - I'm playing v5.0.5. :thdn: Burnley have managed to avoid relegation by the skin of their teeth, and still no manager.
