usually we stick to SYB and SWYCT. Some guys will use a scout for a single country if they either have that country as their homne nationality or the country has a strong link to the other country eg Portugal and Brazil.

i guess you have to ask if it is realistic that you would have players move from the home country to your team based on the low wages a LL team will pay.

The guidelines are there to make the game more realistic, that's the point of LLM. As physim has said, you need to scout realistically. It's one thing saying I'll hire a German scout to wander around Germany and report back but you have to consider whether anyone from overseas will travel to whatever Counrty you are amanging in for £40 per week! I doubt they will uproot their families for that.

Having said that, welcome to LLM. Follow the guidlines and you will have an enjoyable yet frustrating experience but you will gain more from it than going straight to a top team and being sacked after 6 months.

One word of advice; spread out your sentences a bit as some of the posters here do not have English as a first language and may not understand or be bothered to read a big block of text! That also applies to some of the English speaking chaps in here!

Mike Keep it up!, it is worth it. Start with a league you are familiar with and then go out to the more exotic climes once you have a feel for LLM.

I've had that 'remembering name' problem when i managed a Slovakian team. I was getting very confused so i used the nickname option. Worked a treat and also very funny when you set nicknames to Yoda, Hulk Hogan, Mr T etc, etc.
