Chose Sutton Utd as at the time of starting this save they were the worst team in the country IRL. Here are my first 3 seasons.
2007-08 - BSS Sutton Utd
Media Prediction 9th - Board expect top half finish and hand me 2 year contract to establish the U’s as a Blue Square South team.
Struggled around the relegation zone all year. Had no scout till February when I managed to get one loan player in, tinkered with tactics and went on a decent run for final 3rd of season. Obviously cups suck and I underachieved in all of the board’s expectations. My wage management and late run may save my job.

Media predict 10th – Board expect top half finish and give me no money. Get my scouts (both of them!!) out early looking for loan signings.
Bought in a few loanees and had the best season I have ever had in any format of the game! Can’t really explain why, kept the tactics that produced my late run last season. My striker scored 37 in 37 and even made the third round of the FA Cup. Bigger clubs sniffing round me but I’m feeling the love for Sutton and will sign a new contract.

2009-10 – BSP Sutton Utd
4 year contract signed.
Media Predict – 23rd – Board expect relegation fight, but I feel happy enough to predict mid-table. 3 loanees and 2 frees LB and FC brought in.
Same tactics and I pick up where I left off last season. In play-offs all season and hit top with 2 games left, lose next game 4-0 but win last game with 2 goals in injury time to claim the title, proper fairytale stuff. My top scorer last year bangs in another 38 goals and did ok in the cups. I’ve either stumbled on a great tactic or I’m having a huge 2 ½ season aquaplane. Just enjoying the rare success on this game and getting linked with every job under the sun!!!
