following today's news about MyFootballClub's proposed takeover of Ebbsfleet United, i am wondering if and how this would translate onto the game.

How would this unique takeover transfer into the game, and what would happen in ways of transfers, team selection etc....

would anyone be prepared to play a game on FM where this situation existed??

Actually, I think the team should be unmanagable until an in-game takeover takes place. There is no manager of this team, just a head coach and we can't really do any of the stuff a coach does.

Is a head coach not just another name for the manager?

I can't see SI introducing this special case. I think that they will just give them a chairman and maybe a reference to the idea. I do think it will be just one chairman as a spokesperson for the actual 'owners'.

i think they should implement it in the next version, as it's likely to become more common in the english game if ebbsfleet are succesful.

team selections could be made based on overall player popularity, transfers could be made using specially programed AI.

obviously, playing as 'head coach' wouldn't be much fun as you wouldn't get to influence signings/teams etc but i suppose you'd still play a part in motivating and man-managing the players. it would also be interesting to see how they fair as a computer controlled club.

The main problem I see is that there are now 50,000 stakeholders in the club. Think how long the list of staff at Ebbsfleet's going to be...
