Just about to ask that, Lionel Messi, must have cost you a fortune. Also playing lower leagues, I havent really noticed too much about the ass man reports, tend not to use them anyway.

There doesn't seem to be too much wrong with that report to me. It's harsh on your players, but presumably you're expected to win everything, so the players would be marked down accordingly.
The assistant marks down attacking midfielders if they are in midfield instead of attacking field, which seems fair enough (though I think they are marked down by too much).
You have a few outstanding players, but some of those people on your first team are ok but not great for a team which is aiming to win the Premiership and Champions League. Your assistant's complaints seem to be more about your squads depth, which can't be seen from that picture.
There is a small bug I've noticed once where the assistant suddenly became really harsh (as did scouts). It lasted for about a month before reverting to normal. It's possible that the same thing is occurring here, but my experience of the bug was that the assistant was actually much meaner than this.

he had a 63.5M € release fee on his contract when i went for him. The tricky part was to get him to agree to a contract because i try to keep it tight and he was asking for 850,000 / m.

The assistant manager reports have always been a bit crap, but they seem worse this year. At the start of a season they will say a player is key (for example) and then at the end of the season (even if they have been one of your best players) they need to be replaced as soon as possible.

| First of all i dint sart this thread to moan about another bug, i merely had a good laugh with this report and wanted to share, that said...
are you out of your mind?what exactly is normal about this report? how can my ass manager compare my team to something better when there isnt any, i ve been unbeaten for nearly 10 months now. Attacking wingers shouldn't be marked down for starting in midfield position(not to mention the attacking arrow), i have yet to see an AM L/R that isnt as good at M L/R position.
take a look at my team and please do tell me that i lack squad depth. That would mean that i am a great manager
also you were right about that bug, take a look at the team report about a month later : link |

Although I think that the Assistant manager's reports are not accurate, your team selection causes this.
1- Cristiano Ronaldo's ability as a left midfielder (I'm at work, so I cannot check the positional rating) is not "Natural". Ronaldo's natural position is AMR.
2- Same goes for Messi as a right midfielder I guess?
You have to realise that the report is simply a calculation formula (and no matter how complex it is, you will ALWAYS find a flaw!)
As for arrows, they only control the player run's and not the player's ability to perform/performance ratings in a given position.
