If your original post had been about how to get early goals, then there are people on this forum who are extremely well versed in the tactical side of the game who may have chosen to offer you advice, although of course no-one could ever come with a hard and fast route to getting early goals every single time.

Instead your post was about the 'fact' that every time you relaod the game the opposition score early, thereby you concluded the "the result is decided b4 the match is even played." Several people responded to this point.

You then made the assertion that early goals should be "purely random", which I contested. So let's focus on that. Do you really believe that early goals should be purely random? If so, by extension do you also believe that late goals should be purely random? By further extension do you therefore believe that all goals should be purely random?

Ps In the above I have written 'fact' in inverted commas, because you have yet to provide evidence that you did experience it 5 times in a row. It's also a claim that is very easily disproved. All anyone has to do is play a game, note the time of the first goal. Reload the game as many times as you like, and if on just one single occasion the first goal is not at a similar time, then it is not pre-determined and therefore your theory is disproved.

Not at all. No events are 'random' in the game, they are driven by something.

If you truely beleive that the matches are pre-determined then do some ACTUAL tests. Play a match 50 times and make a note of the results, play another game 50 times and take a note of the results.

Another point to make is, why would it matter if this was the case anyway? You should only ever play the game once anyway, unless you have a power shortage/crash etc, however if that was the case you should play for the same result anwyay.

Roll a dice and each time you roll it the odds are 1 in 6 of getting a particular number.

If you roll the dice several times I'm sure you will see sequences of the same number appearing more than once but over a a period of time you would expect things to average out but surprises do happen e.g. a run of one number 3 or more times.....random can happen

I think games are pre-determined to an extent. I was on a particularly bad run once and twice I was 3-0 up in games and the opposition drew to make it 3-3 in the final 20 minutes.

It seemed pretty obvious that match engine wanted to ensure my bad run stayed a bad run.

The game is calculated when you press play then is recalculated every time you or the opponent makes a sub/tactical change iirc. Im sure ive seen it posted somewhere.

I once played Reading 15 times and lost every game. The only thing was they were bottom after 15 games and had lost all 15 games, I was top after winning all 15 Games, the laws of averages would dictate that I would at least draw 1 out of 15, I would have thought (this was on FM07 by the way).

i did a test one my first FM08 game where arsenal played against united at home and in form..

no matter what players i did i lost 0-1, however by changing tactics i then whopped their northern arses 4-0, 3-0 and 6-3 !!!

i used t think the computer was evil too and could see the future before i played it, but it isn't true, if you change something it will affect the future...

wish i hadn't watched that nicholas cage film now about knowing 2 mins into the future !

XDDDDDDDDD Sorry, but I don't think that. But sometimes seems that opponents are titans and can score when they want. Of course it seems, but it's not.
