I've been watching my strikers carefully through my pre season matches to see if theres something I can do to help them score more.
One thing I have noticed is that they cut in onto their weak foot and shoot a lot more than have a go with the other. I play 2 up front and my left striker is left footed and right sided is right footed.
Just wondering how other folks have their front men set up. Is it sensible to swap them over or do they need more Forward Runs on or should i just invest in either footed forwards.
There are three main attributes you need to look for a good striker - finishing, anticipation and composure. You can try anything you like tacticallyu but without these three attributes at a good level then you will struggle for goals - or at at least that's my experience.
