Just saw a PC DVD version of the game through ebay. The back cover shows screencaps that i have yet to see while playing FM08 for the past few months.

Does the DVD version contain extra footage/features??

What is the difference compared to the normal non DVD version??

Isn't it 'kust' the DVD version? I didn't think there was a CD version

Found a listing on ebay for this FM08 PC-DVD & it doesn't look right to me. The seller claims to have included the 8.01 patch onto the disk.

Looks like a Blackbeard special, might be but I'm sure someone from SI can confirm what formats the games has been official released on.

If it's through ebay and the back is showing screencaps that you haven't seen then the chances are it's a dodgy copy. Don't buy it and report to ebay.

The only listing I can find that include the phrase '8.0.1' are all 'update' discs, not the game themselves.
