i'm looking at my players stats and noticed that both vagner love and voronin have made 13 fouls and attempted 13 tackles.

does this mean that every time they attempt to tackle they have fouled the player? seems abit much even though they are strikers.

not all fouls come as a result of tackles. there are obstructions, handballs, etc...

I've meant to post about this myself but never got round to it.

Either I'm misunderstanding something, theres something wrong in the way the stats are presented, or attacking players are making too many fouls.

If other fouls are taken into account, then surely that makes this statistic both misleading and worthless.

the stat 'fouls made/tackles attempted suggests there is a link between the two.
it's like the stat 'penalties scored/penalites taken'.
or 'passes attempted/passes made'

i'm pretty sure that in my game gerrard has succeeded in his tackles. so i'm sure the stat is wrong rather than gerrard being rubbish.

thats a fair point i spose, didnt think of it that way. i would assume aerial challenges are included in it, whether you count them as tackles or what i dunno...
