Default Copying Saved Game from Laptop to Desktop

I've been running FM08 on my Vista laptop, and I want to transfer my saved game over to my XP desktop.

I've copied the whole of my sports interactive folder from "Users" and the Data and Editor Data folders from cprogram files\sports interactive to their new respective destinations.

Everything goes fine. I can select the database i created on my laptop to start a new game with, but when I try and load my copied save game, I get a message:

"The database folder with which this game was created could not be found. The game is now using the default database folder"

This is weird as i can use my database to start a new game but not load my old one

HELP!!
