I've just lost my Van der Vaart to ManUtd; and then I got Luis Jimenez for the AMC position. But since then, my team, who had been the best attacking team in my first 2 season with VdV being my top scorer, has a veeeeery big problem in making goals, although if I compared both players, Jimenez is still better than VdV in attacking and creativity!! Now in my 3rd season I'm only in 8th position.
So I thought maybe I played Jimenez in a wrong way. His preferred moves are : tries killer balls often and cuts inside.
Can somebody please explain what those moves are and how to play Jimenez then to his best.
thanks in advance!!
Well, "cuts inside" could mean he can play on the wing, opposite of his best foot. When he cuts inside, as he would often do, he could use his good foot for dribbling, shooting, passing, etc. Killer pass means he can give decisve through balls, so you should let him do those often. If you're playing him on the wing, you might even want to give him a farrow to a more central position, from which his through balls will be far more effective than when he stays on his wing.
This is all just theory though, I don't know his other stats or even preferred positions.
