fireychariot is infamous around these parts
Default Applying for jobs while on holiday.....

I have built up a reputation on my game having recently managed juventus and newcastle both rich clubs, both top european teams. I recently got sacked from newcastle and so go on holiday putting the apply for "higher reputation" clubs and let me know when I am offered a job. The problem is that it just applies for ANY job going for example being offered the job at stormvogels telstar with a transfer kitty of 0. Surely in real life if I had an agent working for me to apply for jobs for me would not apply for jobs like this. I believe their should be more of an option on doing this like choosing which leagues you would like to work in. Anyone else find this irritating?

Well any job is a higher reputation than being jobless so the feature is doing what it's supposed to do

Like Daniel Foster said, you don't have a job, so all jobs are higher reputation.

OK fair enough a job is better than no job. However getting job offers from dresden, brescia, swansea to name just a couple is a waste. In real life if you have managed juventus and newcastle you would not be applying for these jobs. You would be looking for much higher reputation jobs than those. Its just annoying that I would have to come back off holiday 10 times being offered these pittaful jobs. There should be an option to apply for certain leagues or fot clubs worth so much money.

John Gregory
Glenn Roeder
Peter Taylor
Brian Little

To name a few have managed big clubs before dropping down the league. 3 of those have managed teams in the UEFA cup

I know waht you're saying fireychariot!!

to be able to choose a more specific job whilst on holiday would make more sense!!!

and as you say, IRL you'd have an agent do that for you and you'd say i want top flight football club with the possibility of playing in europe; especially as you have already managed Juve and Toon!!!

yeah but they were all not very good were they???

and they certainly didn't go to teams like stormvogels telstar, dresden and swansea!!!!!!!!

But Peter Taylor (the [insert abusive word here]) has finally found his management level.

The above managers yes IRL have all managed top clubs and then drop down 1 league and I would not mind that at all. Dropping from the premiership to the championship would be a good challenge teams like norwich and leicester whom a couple of those managers went onto manage would be good teams to go to. But realisticly I would not go from Newcastle to stormvogels telstar that would be a massive step back.
