Si games have made good game...but they dont want to pay anything for license.. to have player photos tey just want our money...and we are buying game...

perhaps you could pay for all the licenses seeing as you think its so easy....then perhaps it will be done & they can release the game for free....lol

One of the main problems with the licences is that other people have them as well and they aren't exactly cheap.

It's not that simple.

For example English Premier League logos are not included because EA Sports have an exclusive contract to use them.

SI have actually paid plenty of money for liscences (see the english championship downwards, la liga, major serie A clubs etc etc). Faces are becoming more difficult as players are protecting their likenesses as individuals (see jens mustermann).

SI are no bohemoth like EA Sports. I'd rather have a game than just a disk full of pictures becasue there was no money left to make the game.

Either way, this doesn't change your original post. In fact the more faces, the more graphics would need to be done - so it would take an even stupidly longer length of time to make graphics for your 'mode'.

Actually the biggest problem would be getting all the (licensed) players to stand the same way in the same conditions wearing plain no collared T-shirts, so you could at least stand some chance of applying a kit template. (Or even getting a picture in the first place)

You'd then have the problem of having to make each player the same size (neck, chest etc) so they fit the shirts.

It's a good idea but isn't likely to ever happen, the best you could hope for is for SI to recode the displaying of player pictures and allow you to add an overlay to the player picture. (So you'd have the normal player image and then the kit/logo/etc... overlayed/underneath the player picture).

The best method would be to use computer generated images of the player (players face is scanned into computer program, like they do for motion capture etc) which could then age and have shirt graphics applied to them when they change teams. Hopefully this'll be affordable and fesiable several/many years/decades down the line.
