Can anyone tell me which (if any) xml file(s) control the pop-up menus on the player and staff screens ('Get Scout Report', etc. from the bottom of the sidebar). I'm having trouble with the menus popping up too far away from the sidebar, so they can't be clicked.

Menus themselves are a hardcoded class of item. You can jsut define what is in the list. The way it pops out, which way it pops out etc is defined by where on the screen everything is located.

Your problem I suspect is down to alignemnt or your actions area. I'll be free tomorrow for the first time in a while so I'll grab aero and have a look for you.

The only thing I have noticed is that the little arrows that appear next to stuff like 'Get Scout Report' are closer to the edge of the sidebar by a few pixels (it's a lot more noticable with the new sidebar I made) on the left hand side version. How the bloody hell it's managed it when they're both using the same sections.xml, I don't know.

Right, found your issue.

It's with the xml layout files in the ...graphics\menu\actions\ folder of aero.

Simple fix - delete them :

box.xml
item.xml
item_alt.xml
item_alt_over.xml
item_over.xml

FM then uses the default ones which work fine. You could try altering those files (right/left insets in particular, I suspect box.xml is the main offender without looking) but deleting them is a simpler fix.

Well, deleting them didn't work, but after making a copy of the folder for the left version, and tinkering with the vbalues, I've got it to work! Hurrah! Thanks for your help, once again, radestock!
