did you by any change change the xml file that came in the new db manually? if so then you have to start over again, when you manually change the xml file the editor and fm can`t/will not reconise it.

if you haven`t touch it i don`t know the problem then.

if you are using WWSM2007 any saved changes to the DB are saved in

user docs/Sports Interactive/FootballManager2007/db

Drag the file of the edit you want to the side and go back to the screen that has the Football manager 2007 file and the WorldWide Soccer manager 2007 file..

click on the WWSM2007 file/then the db file. When the db file opens put the edited file in this folder. When you start a new game you will be able to select this db when you start the game.

Thankyou Madsircool.I've had this annoying bug/problem aswell.I was able to add the new databases this way :open my documents, sports interactive/FM07/db/copy the folder of new database.

Open sports interactive folder(where game is installed)/FM07/data/db and then paste your new database folder in there.

You should now see a database pop-up when you click new game.

step by step guys

step 1:after installing the game open the football manager 2007 folder on your hard disk, where the game is installed.

step 2:double click on, fm data editor.exe

step 3:now you're in the fm data editor, click where it says file, and then load database(the only on avilable is the default one)load it.
after the loading a new window will appear with lots of options where it says sections.
example:
search
-people
-clubs
-nations
and much more for tou to change.

step 4:after you finish editing go to file, save database as.... and exit.

step 5pen the game start a NEW GAME AND A WINDOW WILL APPEAR ASKING IF YOU WANT TO LOAD THE DEFAULT DATABASE OR THE ONE YOU CREATED AND NAMED.MAKE YOUR CHOICE AND START PLAYING.

HOPE IT HELPS

P.S: SPORTING CP FROM PORTUGAL IS THE BEST TEAM
YEAH!
SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORTTTIIING!!!!!!!!!!
