I'm thinking of putting Scarborough back into the game.
If I were to put them back in and they only had a ground and a chairman how long would it take for them to have a manager, backroom staff and a squad of players? Or would they carry on in the game using greyed out players?
If I were to put them into the Northern League 1st Division will that ba ok or will it **** the game up? I'd probably have them replacing West Allotment Celtic.
Any advice?

They would sign players on a free and if they had cash...buy some. They would use greyed out players should they not have bought enough players to make an 11 or a 16. They would employ a manager within a week i should imagine and then the backroom staff would follow, but a lot slower.

| Thanks.
What would happen if I was to start a new game but used the start date of say Belarus which I think is March I take it that would help them get more staff and players in before the season started?
What would happen if I was to start a game with them having no chairman? would one be appointed during the game or would they remain chairmanless?

March 2007 or March 2008??? Because if it is the latter, the season would be almost over and they should have a manager and the players to make the 16. If you mean 2007, then that would give them more time...but i didn't starting a new game before June 2007 was available.

| I've started a game as Blackpool with the start date of Belarus and I'm 100% sure it was March 07, I've not played the game but you have no friendlies set, you don't actually play any games from the previous season but all internationals look as though they've got to be played again.
If you pick the start date of say Brazil you can start the game back in December 2006.

| Yes, you won't have any games to play until the start of the 07/08 season.
Try it.

| Who said there was fun involved?
I used the Brazil date as an example, if you were to use someone like Germany you will get a start date of the end of June which will benefit some who like to spend more time tinkering with their squad before the season starts, it also makes arranging friendlies easier as none have been arranged.
