I`ve spent hours reading the "tactics bible" and I´ve started a new game as Coventry manager.
I started using wwfan:s RoO 4 4 2 Tactic set and it worked very well in the beginning in the championship, when I started loosing and drawing a lot of games in the second half of the season I created a 4 4 2 diamond and used the strategy "combination of Cleon and wwfan" and in the end my Coventry won the championship.
Next season started very well indeed, won the first game 2-1 against Liverpool and were lying at 5 place in the beginning of december.
Now I thought:
-Finally, I understand this game-
No no no no no
I`m now in the middle of February and we are on 17 place in the table and the threat of relegation is closing in fast.
It seems I can`t do anything right anymoore, whatever I tweak it just gets worse, I always pick wrong tactic to begin with in every single game and the game is over before I manage to find the right combination.
My question now is:
Is there anyone of you tactical FM geniuses who would like to help me to rebuild a new set of tactics and help me get the "in game tweaking" right, sit on my shoulder (so to speak) and tell me where i`m doing it wrong??
Is anybody willing to be my mentor?
I believe thats the only way for me to get to understand this beautiful game.
I really dont have a clue on what or how to change things anymoore, I mean, I can clearly see that something is really wrong but I cant do anything about it.
