I'm man utd and in my 2nd season, playing a 5-2-1-2 wing back formation. up front i have rooney and villa (torres and rossi on bench). my amc is vd vaart.

The team create bucket loads of chances but are not converted up front and usually the opposition sneak a goal at the other end and i end up losing or drawing.

e.g. against west ham away i had 16 shots, 9 off target and 7 on target resulting in 1 goal, i lost the game 2-1.
other games its been at 14-8off-6on = 0 goals. 1 game i had 17 off target.

My training is full intensive shooting for the strikers and the coaching is at 5 stars.

My assistant says the morale is at "a little better than average at the moment"

Whats the solution?

i had a similar problem at southampton and i was only scoring about 1 every game and the opposition were scoring more and i think the reason was that i bought 4 players in and 4 on loan but about half way thru my players started to score more so if you have bought 2 many players in just be patient and they will soon find their soring touch

good advice, also what are your ST's mentalities and CF? if this is too high they will miss lots - i never let a player in my team play on an attacking mentality becuase of this

i have bought in torres but villa n rooney were already there, but i have completely redesigned the whole midfield
