Managing Partick Thistle in 2010 and am more than half way through season. So far I haven't scored a single penalty all season and am wondering why. I have a young striker with good stats for finishing (19), composure (18), technique (16). His Penalty stats are only 13 which may be a contributing factor but even so.
What is also worrying is that the opposing keeper has saved every penalty kick I've had
I've upped strikers and attacking midfielders set piece training but so far to no avail. Other players with similar or slightly worse penalty stats have also failed miserably from 12 yards.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to rweak training to imrove matters (signiong new striker is not an option as this is Partick Thistle - I'm locky to have what I've got!)
