ok im playing manchester city and im playing 4132 with a target man with good header to get balls down for the striker with pace(cesar delgado/lasse qvist)

a defensive midfielder with mid mentality and above the dm(with around mentality a little over middle )

and high ball to the target man

ok when im playing spanish teams or mid table teams this works , samaras and corradi wil win 80% of the header and and usually will assist 1-2 each game for the team

however when im playing top teams with good denfender(JT, RIO, ETC)
my target man only wins like 30% of the header

and im using my mc more like an amc with higher defense responsibility but yet hes not really creating much chances for the stirker( i set killer pass often and CF around 18) whole season played like 40 games only 3 assists and when my target man is marked down my mc wont help the team

anyone can help me solve this issue? making my mc assists more and not losing his position in defense(i was thinking about setting a high cf but im afraid this will mess up my line up in the midfield since i only got 3 men in the mid field)

For the target man issue, have you tried moving the target man? That is to say, if he's playing on the left of two strikers, have you tried swapping round the instructions so the target man plays on the right?

I ask because I've used a target man before against better teams, and sometimes swapping him to the other side makes him play against a slightly weaker header of the ball or drags the other centre back out of position.
