Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Breaking the Offside Trap

Sorry if this is already discussed somewhere. I did a search, but I couldn't find anything.

I'm curious how people try to break the offside trap against an opponent. I used to have my striker doing forward runs and dribbling with the ball often, but he was constantly offsides. I reduced the settings to "mixed", and this seems to have helped some.

Has anyone else experienced similar effects from pulling back on forward runs/dribbling for strikers?

you're right about the forward runs, but if you can have a cm/am as playmaker and use a fast/tall striker as targetman then if you use a tall striker he should flick it on to the other striker, or if you use a fast striker make him run onto ball, this works for me good luck
