I'm going to start a new season with the Shrimpers.
I need a new striker because of the departure of Eastwood the great. I may go for Maynard or possibly Nathan Tyson. I will also want a target man but i'm low on options. Hopefully Pekhart is has as good potential as 07 so he can become prolific and work well with the small striker.
Also Southend's wingers are quite weak. On FM 07 I bought Garreth O'Connor and he done well for me aswell as Garreth I will probably buy Kevin Mcleod which I don't know much about.
Goalkeeper Daryl Flahavan was fantastic on 07. I had him for Southend from Championship to Premiership and he was very consistent i'm just hoping he can relive that.
The Defence is pretty strong with Hammell and Clarke being fantastic. I may consider buying another CB to partner with Clarke.
Definsive Mid is not too bad with Maher but he's getting on. I'll hang onto him for a season then i'll consider my options after.
