I'd go for burning a CD or using a decent memory stick (flash drive).
If that doesn't work just keep using your old PC!
As for you Star Wars dudes, the 'Force' is not to be fk'd with! Use it to defeat the dark side and influence the minds of fat monsters with pretty ladies chained to them but not to transfer a save game!!
