Open the save game in a hex editor, print it out, open the editor on your laptop, and punch the bits and bytes in. Make sure you don't mess up though.

Learn voodoo. Then you can do hexes without the need of an editor.

I carry my save file on my PDA from time to time so I can play on my work pc.
The only problem is the transfer times of such a big file. Though if this is just a one off to port your save across to your laptop you should have no worries.

How about zipping it up to floppy disks and then transfer it to the new pc.....it couldn't take that many disks could it | |
