As I'm an Aussie managing in Confrence North, would signing an Aussie scout with the vision of scouting Aussie players be stretching the LLM ethics a little too much? Not that I'm able to at the moment, but if the SWYCT rule is supposed to guage reality, then in reality, an Aussie would want to sign Aussie players. Can somebody give me a ruling? I'm entering my second season and I want to know before it's pointless.
General rule of thumb is that it is allowed to scout the country of your own nationality. If you even find players who are willing to sign for you is a totally different question.
Didnt read the link so sorry if im going against "the rules".
SWYCT is a guideline. A great guideline invented by someone who felt it worked for him (personally) cos he knew how to play the game in the right spirit. Dont get hung up on rules... LLM is summnik you feel.
If you're an Aussie managing in England, you may want to rely on old contacts from back home. And use that to gain an advantage over the other managers from Norway. For example.
Its realistic, you know this Victa, but you ask the question because you read some rules about here... rules....postings within the rules.... there are no rules really, just points of reference for muppets who need to ask. You know it feels realistic to do this... so just do it. You are the manager.
But yes, its all about how you play, not about how far you can get whilst playing within the rules. And enjoying and playing as a real manager would.
I got sacked today from a big club cos my chairman said i should sign some more big name players. I asked for more transfer funds and he said no. I gave the ultimantum ... and got sacked. **** him. I got another job. I'm in year 2016. I got here realistically. I did my own thing.
