I may have committed managerial suicide at Northampton. I sold my #9 for 700K but the fans did not like it and i am having trouble trying to get someone of a higher calibre playing ability to sign.

Yea i guess, but only been able to draw lately. Seems that some of my players lost faith in me as well when i sold him.....haha

Disaster....in my third season with the Cobblers i was sacked. They said that my players lost confidence in my abilities. They must have been mad for my selling our #9 because we just finished an 8 game unbeaten streak with 4 of them wins when they sacked me. We were starting to rise into the top 10 on the tables as well.

So now i am back into Conference football with struggling and cash strapped Darlington. One of my players is leaving at the end of the season so i will save some money then. Picked up a few loaners that are doing pretty well so i am near 10th now from 20th in the tables. We will see how long those winning days will last. I was ousted out of the fa cup early as i got a bad draw and had to play Blackburn. On my way to the 3rd round in fa trophy.
