Hmm. Do Russian LL teams really have such resources? Or is it a FM quirk? I guess it's possible with enough fanbase, and Russia's a big place.

I don't know that the Russian league really counts within the spirit of the guidelines. It's not as crap as the Welsh league or some other 1 league nations, for example.

Russia isnt a 1 league nation, the higher division is Russian Premier League. There are also 4 divisions north west south east which sadly are unplayable

Well. It could be argued that in earlier versions of the game the conference wouldn't count. The resources available in the 0102 version conference were obscene. The redeeming feature was that only one promotion spot was available.

I have sucked at this game as much as anyone here(still do tbh ), but in hindsight the 0102 conference was simply too easy.

I don't have a clue what I'm trying to say with this rant, but I'd say go for it Jurjev.

Just pick a club in the lowest division and play in a realistic way.

...Or, if that doesnt fit... start at a club in a different country... at the bottom, as a Russian manager, and get some success and apply for a job in the Russian league. Then you've earned it if you get it... after a few seasons learning your trade.

That might be a more imaginable way of doing it.

Then I retract my statement. We need some proper naming conventions for leagues. I mean, League One is the third tier of English Football FFS.
