I have decided to have a crack at this and "yes" I have read "THE GUIDELINES" and think that this will be a good challenge instead of starting with a top team and winning more or less everything every year.
"What??" My Point??? Sorry, getting carried away with meself!!
One thing I wanted to ask. How far do you take your "career"??? I take it that it is perfectly acceptable for example that if I DO manage to take a Conference side into the Top Division (without cheating might I add) that I can keep going with them for as long as I like.
Or is there an unwritten rule that after so many seasons you have to start again??
Is there for example a rule for what age as a manager you have to retire and start again??
I know I'm probably asking thick questions and I bow down at your feet asking for your wisdom (and forgiveness if I am being an idiot!!).
There's no rule on having to start again. For any reason. Keep playing until you're fed up with the save, it corrupts, or you play yourself into a comatose state.
You don't have to take a conference side to the top division by the way. We just try and play realistic sort of careers. If you take a side to its glass ceiling and attract the attention of a bigger club you can accept other jobs. Just keep it real - a manager who's never finished higher than midtable in Conf S isn't going to move up very far, if at all.
And equally well, you're welcome to scratch around in the bottom divisions and get frequently relegated out of them over a long career too.

What hidden meaning? </BLOCKQUOTE>
Well, using the phrase "play yourself" sounded particularly interesting to my young and immature mind last night
