I would like to have a career in graphics too, although i need a lot of improvement if i want to make any money Taking graphics at A level too so i can take it from there really.
Anyway i got into graphics around this time last year. I saw the sigs on SP made by the likes of DecJ and Dwaaz and wanted a similar sig myself. I requested a few but nobody made me one (little violin time) so i decided to give it a go myself after discovering i had PS Elements on my PC. Played around and made my first sig, which was a morten gamst pedersen sig. I thought it was brilliant (even though it was shiite) and couldnt belive i made it and enjoyed making it so i carried on making sigs on SP. I joined forums such as SA and the old AG Designs... soccergraphics and continued to improve (a bit). And now i'm making walls and graphics for soccer-art |

I'll be looking for a career in business...a successful entrepreneur
Though if I get the required skills, I could consider freelance work as well.

I am and I may have a job lined up soon | I don't plan to make a career out of design. It seems to me like a short term career. You will have to keep learning and getting better and adapt to new programs that come out every year. I can already design better than my Webmasters teacher, and it happens a lot these days in this field... the profesor gets left behind and keeping up is too hard. It seems unstable... plus it would be boring to do it allll the time.

the way i started was only a few years back, well i pretty much just wanted to make sigs for myself, then then that way it would really be MY sig, something unique to me thats how it was back then and still is now. i've been all over the place lyk here, soccergaming, breamster (not really that arty places but a start) and have never been one to go with the flow, i like to make all my own styles, i might pick up a few things from here and there but any thing you see is pretty much the way i imagine things in my head instead of what someone else has. I would really love to have a career in graphic design, i couldnt see myself really doing anything else its really become one of my favourite past times, just making something that looks good so yeah
