Fogging player names is ridiculous. The bloke mentioned being unable to know the names of Bolivian players...5 clicks got me this:

Fogging player names is ridiculous, I agree with Ian here. It's like telling a phonebook company to remove names from their books, since they don't know the people.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why the guy is complaining about "manager omniscience" and being able to know a player' name and position being unrealsitic when the first thing he does is search for players with finishing greater than x. How realistic is that?

*shakes head* I don't get it. If I use my scouts, and they recommend a player, I suspect they'd have a decent idea of his name and position if they've watched him enough to tell me some of his stats. It's a non-issue for me.

And much as I like FoW as a safety net, as a LLaMa it only really helps me when a player has been on my shortlist a while and some of the numbers 'fog up' again because they changed. I don't sign players my scouts haven't revealed the stats for anyway.

Ok. Player masking is stupidtiy, but other attributes masking isn't.

Although I don't think any of this will be implemented, since SI would loose those "Challenge: Win ENG Premiership with Chelski" type of players.

I dispute the use of the word Challenge in your post. I think the definition implies some degree of difficulty
