Ive jumped, is this right??
After guiding Altrincham from Conf.North to League 1.
I finally gave in to constant job offers from Higher teams.
I accepted job at Charlton who are in the championship.
Is this accepted within lower league managerment??

Probably just have to ask yourself if it was realisic, did you win all the leagues or were you just promoted? Did you win lots of cup competitions along the way. If your a manager who has won a lot of trophies, it may not be unrealistic.

Since League One is right below the Championship, jumping ship to a club up there is perfectly fine. You deserved it after all.

What was the point of going to charlton when in a few seasons you couldd have been in Championship with Altrincham

He felt Altrincham had reached a glass ceiling, and Charlton was then a logical career move to a club big enough to consider winning silverware at.
