    i thought manager contracts werent in fm05, so are burton actually paying my wage out of their money? may be a stupid question but i never contemplated that whatsoever

    Yup, they do. I think though that they don't appear on the wage budget view.

    they gave me 6k transfer and 15k wage budget, which is 21k and they want it reducing. but next week we'll be in 30 odd grand in debt!!!

    The best way to keep your savegame and fit in with LLM Ethics is to retire your current personna and to add another manager, even with the same name.

    This defaults the reputation and makes the wage thing realistic.

    You could either start unemployed or pick another Lower League Club.
