It seems like most of the "accounts" posted here are successful ones (I.E., I brought Vuxall Motors from Conference North to the Championship in 5 years!). Would be fun to see people's stories who struggle, as I have a feeling that 90% of people do, but only the 10% of people that succeed post their stories.

The vast majority of those who post in here take quite a time to reach the upper leagues, and then rarely with the team they started with.

The even more overwhelming majority rarely post updates at all.

We did have a notable thread entiltled "Pete's World Relegation Tour", which was an epic update of losses and relegations around the world until finally the worm turned and Pete was successful, however it was inadvertently culled.

I, for one, write updates as I play the game, so whether I'm relegated or promoted you get to hear about it.

I predict a rather unsuccessful saga in Scandinavia in the months to come.

Hopefully it will eventually become successful though.

Took me 5 years and 3 teams to win anything.

1st win was Brazilain 3rd division with villa nova go

Then 3 years later got promotion from the conference with morcombe through the playoffs.

wasn't until 16 years into my save that I won a championship, winning the Brazilian 1st div with Corinthians.

whoever you are who ever you play with it's a battle to get anywhere, and those who jump ships tend to get there in the end, those who stay put hit the glass ceiling. :cool:

Updates suck arse more than winning cups.

Well, I actually didn't win a thing with Sestao and only got out of 2nd Division B after 8 seasons... if that's success I'm guilty as charged.

In my current save, I'm still in the conference after 4 completed seasons, twice finished third after losing in the playoff final :cool:

Have one trophy to my name .. the Vans (truly crap with no winners cheque) Trophy

This season (fifth)is 1/2 way through and I have been knocked out of the FA cup and the Suck Arse Trophy at the first hurdle.

Updates = Suck Arse
Cups = Suck Arse (except the one that doesn't)
Losing Promotion Playoffs = Suck Arse
