After taking Hinckley up to League 2 from Conf South I had the pleasurable, and some times troublesome task of getting rid of players and getting new players in. Whilst watching a number of other clubs do the same such as Nuneaton have brought in a new squad completely. I have managed to keep a core of 5 players and a not so core player involved. The number of players that have come and gone in the mean time as a way of generating money, and the hope that I will uncover a gem!
Just wandering what other LLM hold onto "core players or is it more cut throat and chop and change all the time?
I agree totally. Whilst it's always a bit worrying to let your star playmaker go, there's usually someone better (and cheaper) who isn't getting a game somewhere else. (Until the scout bug kick in of course.)
Plus, I need to keep the money rolling in so I can afford to be over my wage budget!
