Another season finishes with disaster for my cause. Instead of staying up after last seasons bit of luck, we went back down. We were sitting in the bottom 3 all season, and there was just no way out for us. To add salt to the wound we were relegated 2 games before the end of the season. It wasn't until the 25th game of the season that we actually started improving and getting a few good wins, but they were to no avail. We finished the season on 29 points, in 18th position. We won 8, drew 5, lost 21, and had a great goal differnec of -27.
With going down though i stand the chance on cashing in on a few of my players, who i no longer require. Some of the bigger teams noticed a few of my better players and are interested in their services, so as soon as firm offers starting being made their off.
In the season i bought 2 new players for my team, which played okish, but could have done better, so they may be shown the door very soon, if they do not improve. I got rid of one player for a massive fee of £1k.
I also succesfully got 5 new staff members after placing adverts for them. 3 new coaches, a physio and a scout all help towards trying to take the club back up next season.
Thanks to super duper huge attendances at home games, we managed to increase geta receipts by 36%, hence meaning i have more money to spend next season
I am slightly worried at the size of the attendances, but i guess their must be that many people there willing to follow football like a passion. If the club stats say i have a 20k stadium, so be it, but its not my fault if the fans can't fit in.
Next season i plan on rebuilding the team, regardless to what the board want me to do

I intend to get a new keeper, 2 defenders and a couplf of goal scorers, as well as offload as many 'dead wood' as possible.
I was offered a job back in the home land, but Cambridge just didn't appeal to me today
Bring on the new season
