Hi guys, this is my first ever post on Football Manager forums so go easy on me if I do something wrong

A little about me:

I like Football Manager games and my favourite teams to manage are Arsenal, West Ham United (they're both family teams) and **** (you'll find that out after a few updates )

As you guess from my name my favourite all time player is the great Bobby Moore. Anyways that is enough off-topic stuff.

I am running the latest patch (...I think) with the last update that came with one of the patches.

I am running a game with all the leagues from England and some from Spain with a Small database because my PC is rubbish!

I am currently about midway through the 2009/10 season and have had a few ups and downs. I am controlling my local side Weston-super-mare and I will do updates from the start of the game, and you can probably expect to see the first appearing either early tonight or over the weekend.

Cheers!

So if you're Sir Bobby Moore II, then your dad must be Sir Bobby Moore.

***Mid-Season UPDATE 2004/05***

My first impression of life at Weston-Super-Mare was that I was going to struggle as it is only the second time I have ever tried LLM properly and the first on FM. Whatever happened I knew I was going to be keeping my eye on the job centre.

As my first season in LLM I decided to take things easy for the first season and try to get used to my surroundings and maybe expand later on in the season.

The media tipped us as relegation but from what I could see we didn't have a bad bunch of players so I decided not to sign anyone in the first season.

The first half of the season went really badly results wise as we were 17th at Christmas and things weren't looking good. I had tried though a number of different systems and none seem to be functioning too well. As for the cup run we have already gone out of every cup so there is only the league to focus on now.

However, things looked alot brighter on the financial side of things as we are now out of debt (we started £36,000 in the red) and haven't had to sell anybody.

***End of Season UPDATE- 2004/05***

This update brings some good news and some bad news.

First the good news. The main news of the past 6 Months has been my form in the second half of the season. I found a tactical formation that worked and have began to work on individual instructions. I won't go into details but basically my final position was 13th (unlucky! ) which I was quite pleased with.

Now for the bad news. I made requests to the board for more money to spend on players and wages, but they said no and really got annoyed with me and the media were questioning my job. That wasn't great for my first season. The players were also annoyed because I made an 'unprofessional' comment about another manager so I was forced to seriously consider my options.

I was looking around in the job centre when newly promoted to the conference South side Bath City had lost their manager so I applied. The media gave me a question asking whether I was interested in the Job and I said definately.....so weston sacked me!

Oh well...*walks off siging 'when you get knocked down, you get back up again'*

A few days later I signed up for Bath and with 4 players this was going to be an amazing challenge...

The silverware:
Premiership Man Utd
FA Cup Crystal Palace!
League Cup Newcastle
Championship Sheffield United
Champions League Bayern Munich
UEFA Cup R. Madrid
La Liga R. Madrid

Would I be correct in thinking ****= BATH ?

I don't think I have ever known anyone manage Bath, you could have called this thread 'Lower that Low'.

By the way, what does the 'Axis of Excellence' mean?

You may well be, just wait and see. *I'm a poet and I don't know it *

It becomes more relavent later, it is basically to do with the tactical systems I used where I kept an 'Axis' exactly the same in about 4 different tactics but altered positions around them.

By "update" I assume you mean v5.0.5 by SI and not a 3rd Party one?

...and you shan't, of course, be going into any detail whatsoever about your tactics

Leg-end or not
