SEASON 7- 07/08

Another crack at the First Division and hopes of a decent season are scuppered when a terrible run of form ensues and we find ourselves bottom of the league.

However, a change in tactic and some new form helps a revitalised effort at staying up. It goes to the wire but we eventually finish 9th, securing our 2nd division status.

1ST DIV:9TH Place, 39 pts, 4 from staying up.

CC:0-0 Clydebank A, Round 1, out on pens.

LC: 1-0 Aberdeen A, 3rd Round

SC: 1-3 Dundee H, 3rd Round

I've finally realised we are simply a Second Division club and I'll spend this summer looking for a new job, after building my reputation to 7th best in the country.

SEASON 8- 08/09

Well I found the job I was after. St Mirren. Just finished 4th in the SPL. A decent squad, some good players and not high expectations at all. Avoid relegation. That'll do me I thought.

I brought in a few experienced players and got ready for the new season, with St Mirren's first ever involvement.

A stumbling start but we were soon back on track.

SPL: 4th Place, enough to secure UEFA involvement.

LC: My best cup run yet, knocking out Celtic 4-2 only to go out in the semi's to Dundee Utd on pens after a 1-1 draw.

SC: Round 4, Rangers A, 2-1

SEASON 9- 09/10

After losing a few players to retirement, I managed to seal a few more players signature including a world class 32 year old striker from Ukraine...

SPL: 2nd Place, only 6 oints off Rangers.

LC: Celtic A, 0-0 Out on pens in the QF.

SC: Dundee A, 3-2, Fourth round.

UEFA CUP:

Round 1 Ujpest, 4-1.
Round 2 Ajax, 2-1.
Round 3 Galatassaray 7-2 :eek:
Round 4 Hajduk, 1-3.

SEASON 10- 2010/11

Another season underway at St.Mirren and CL football to look forward to. It look's like we could fall at the first hurdle though as we draw Schalke 04 in the 3rd qualifying round, but comprehensively beat them 3-0 over the 2 legs.

SPL: 2nd place, well ahead of Rangers but 10 points behind Celtic.

LC: First ever final reached, but Livi beat us 2-0...

SCAnother final, but beaten by Celtic 3-2 in extra time.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Bottom in a group of Barca, Hertha and Lyon. No shame but still dissapointing to go completely out of Europe.
