I thought it was about time I posted an update so here goes:
I loaded all asian leagues and started unemployed, and DBKL were the first team to risk appointing me...
2007-08 DBKL
The title says it all. Started off with no players, thought I'd got a decent squad together but they just wouldn't gel. The win came after 20 games and sent me down and the draw was the last game of the season. Needless to say I resigned!

2008 Jilin Yanbian
Somehow a board was feeling suicidal enough to appoint me after only a couple of weeks holiday!
I came in for the last 8 games or so and dragged them from 12th to 10th.

2009 Jilin Yanbian
Mediocrity! The team I inherited was pretty old and had a massive reserve squad so I had trim down to free up some wage budget. The only decent players were 3 amazing North Koreans (a D C, M C and ST) so I tried to replace some of the rest squad with young talent but didn't really work.

2010 Jilin Yanbian
The youngsters started to look promising but just couldn't find any consistancy. As a couple of young Chinese regen strikers signed from Super League clubs started showing some promise, I retrained N. Korean ST as another M C to give the team a classy all-forign midfield.

2011 Jilin Yanbian
The youngsters really started to do the business and it showed in the league form but we just couldn't quite find the form needed to finish in the top two and gain promotion. My promising M C/ST and ST were sold for hefty profits and replaced with more Super League reject youngsters.
Chinese National First Division 4th
By the way cups arn't even worth mentioning, even though the board were pleased that I managed to reach the first round each time (you can't NOT reach it!)
