Direct literal translations are rarely effective at communicating what you mean, especially if you're being descriptive.
If you directly translate the phrase "out of sight, out of mind" into Russian and back, it returns "Invisible idiot", which you can see where it comes from, but doesn't really translate the meaning of the phrase.
For example, If I translate "This is the Malonga show!" to Italian and back with babelfish, it returns "That is the exposure of Malonga!"
That honestly was the first one I tried.
