I'm trying to sign a maxi rodriguez on a free but the board will only alllow me to give 14k based on appearances and he wants 33k so i sold some players thinking it would free up some wages but it has'nt. Is this a bug or is it because i have done a couple of transfers where I pay big money after 24 months?

If a player wants €1M per week, the board is also not gonna allow you to offer that, its just too much. Why would that be a bug?

i assume you tried changing the player's squad status? the board often has different levels of fees it will pay, depending on the player status

i've put him to key player gave him a 2.5 mil signing on fee but the board won't allow me to offer anymore money on a wage or apperance/goal fee per game.

who are you managing??? try declaring interest in him, that might prompt the board to up their allowances, or ask them to increase the wage budget... apart from that, im out of ideas, sorry...
