... and you get the sack, what do you do?
(apart from the obvious ranting at the stupid chairman/board and throwing various items around the room of course!!)
personally, if i'm managing liverpool, thats the end of the game for me, i quit the game, delete the saves and start over again! for some reason i cant bring myself to manage another club!! however, if i started with a random club or in the lower leagues, it doesnt bother me half as much, i just pick myself up and wander off down to the job centre!!
I got sacked by NAC Breda in 2040 for defying expectations in my first season by winning the premiership, and then defying expectations in my second season by being bottom at christmas.
I carried on regardless, and rejoined them in 2056, detemined to prove that they were wrong to get rid of me.
So far proving that they were wrong has, rather unspectacularly, consisted of reasonably solid year on year improvement, but no silverware. Maybee next year...
I continue playing and hope to get the chance to hammer them with whatever team I take over instead. Or in the case of when I got sacked with Leeds, relax safe in the knowledge that it was only Leeds.

Instead of ranting and throwing multiple object about the room why not just retire then re-add yourself to the game so you can just continue from where you left off. This works for me anyway and is a lot less violent that the method above.
