I've been playing Football Manager since xmas and have had no problems until now, I have found that the game won't go past the date of 18 June 2008. I press the continue button and it says processing as normal but doesn't go any further, I then have to come out of the game completly. Its very frustrating as I can't play this great game, can anyone help!!!!!

have you patched the game? i believe there was an issue with some games sticking on a certain date, and the patch should fix it...

This is summer transfer time - maybe an unsusual amount is going through and you have a low-sepc machine?

Yeah I patched the game the first time I played it as my FM game shortcut didn't appear so that resolved that issue but not this one. I got a brand new Philips laptop for xmas and the game with it so there shouldn't be a problem with memory, running speed or spec as I don't have anything on it.
