Question on backrounds

is it possible to use some of your own jpegs as backrounds? and if so, how is it done

Yeah, just substitute any pic that you have for one that you've downloaded from someone. Simply give it he same name so it corresponds with the configuration file and your pic will appear instead of the original one.

I have another question backgrounds related: when I assign backgrounds to a club it seems that the games picks only the first one in alphabetic order and does not show/change to the others. Has this something to do with the skin used in FM 2007 or is this a general change in comparison to FM 2006?

Yeah it's changed for FM2007, you cant get that random change thing you could in FM2006.
