If you really want to do this there is a way:

- You can find the regens pics in following directory: Football Manager 2007/data/graphics/pictures/players/normal/regens
- Each regen picture has a tag, a number = the name of the file.
- You will also see a config file in that same directory, open it with notepad.
- You will see command lines like this:
<record from="3" to="graphics/pictures/person/alexandre boussard 29-12/portrait" />
- You'll see the number of the picture (3) and the name of the player (alexandre boussard).
- So when alexandre boussard will appear as a regen he will have picture 3.
- If you want alexandre boussard to have the face of Thierry Henry, you will have to delete picture 3, add Thierry his pic and name it '3'.
- Or you could add Thierry Henry's pic give it a random number (for example 11339) and copy/paste a new command line in which you must change the number to 11339 and also choose a name to replace the old one.

do you think the regen players are real people that play for their respective youth sides? or are they just completely random names?


anyway, I was wondering how you would put your name - so that whilst I'm playing there will be a regen with my name etc. I dont even know if its possible, but if it is could someone shed some light on it please.

They are people who won the "Face in the Game"-thingy.
Other regens (completely random) are without faces.
